Obituary of Carol L. Berenato

Carol L. Berenato (nee Blough) , 64 of Hammonton passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Galloway Township. Born in Philadelphia she was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. Mrs. Bernato worked a secretary to the Principal at the Fanny B .Rittenberg Middle School in Egg Harbor City, she was a devoted employee there for many years. She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association. She was formerly a Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts , and was a member of the Hammonton High School Band Boosters. She was predeceased by her father, Frank L. Blough. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Berenato, her mother, June Marie Blough, her brother, Frank L. "Skip" Blough all of Hammonton, two nieces, Christina M. Gardner, and Stephanie A. McLeod, one nephew, Michael B. Blough and numerous great nieces and great nephews. A viewing will be held Monday 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Grace Community Church, 155 Pump Branch Road, Waterford Works, NJ, where funeral services will take place at 7:00 PM. Entombment will be held privately at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers family requests donations to the Atlantic County Humane Society, 1401 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
