Obituary of Denise M. Aquila

Denise M. Aquila, (nee Tutolo) 70 of Mays Landing, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2024. Born in Philadelphia she was a lifelong area resident. She worked for Prudential Insurance Company right after High School for 15 years as an underwriter. She also spent 10 years as an assistant manager with Curves from 2003-2012. Denise was most well-known for her love of her family; she spent many years as a stay-at-home mom raising her children and took pride in giving the neighborhood kids a fun place to congregate together. She was a big Phillies fan and actively involved in charitable work towards Chron's disease for the past 45 years. She had a big love for the outdoors, beaches and sunsets. She always enjoyed being at the Jersey Shore. Denise is survived by her husband, Sal Aquila, her children Nicole Veale and her husband, Christopher and Andrew Aquila and his wife, Susanna McLin and her sister Donna Cummings. A Visitation will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ. A Service of Remembrance will begin at 12:30 pm.
