My daughter Jana and I were so sad learning of Denise’s passing. Having moved to Colorado, I’ve missed seeing her. We shared many years of friendship, families and dreams. I’ll always hold memories of our Brownie and Girl Scout troop (With Allie and troop parents). Denise and I enjoyed so many experiences, trips and activities together. I loved our exercise and walks together. She had a fun sense of humor, love of family, and was a sweet giving friend. Now I know she is a beautiful angel. Sending love to Sal, Nicole and Andrew.

I don’t know where to start, I am so sorry for your loss, Denise was an amazing woman, mom, friends, mentor, just person in general. There are so many memories of Girl Scout trips and events that I cherish, I had such a blast as a “co-leader” with her and Sue and learned so much. Rest easy Denise and say hi to my dad for me. Denise was and always will be my bes friend. My heart is broken and I am so sorry for your loss Sal, and Andrew and Nicole. Your mom was an amazing, funny, kind and Loving person and anyone who knew her loved her. I know she was in great pain and I know she is free of pain and free of the unknown. I do know she loved you all so very much and was so proud of all of you. She always had beautiful things to share with me about each of you. I knew Denise for 50 years and even though we lived hundreds of miles away from each other we were connected by the heart. We text messaged each other every day and I will miss her so much. Denise was my best friend and my bonus sister. Sal I thank God that you and John were friends or I would have never met your beautiful wife, Again I am so sorry for the loss of your wife and mother and John and I are here for all of you for anything you need. May God Bless and heal your hearts.

On behalf of Bill and Laura, and our daughters, Sabrina and Reneé (and her husband, Joseph) we would like to express our sincerest and deepest condolences to all of Denise's family. Denise was a kind and gentle soul who was one of the first neighbors to welcome us to the neighborhood when we moved in next to her. I always thought of her as a person I had known all my life. She will be missed very much, and I know she is looking down on all of us, smiling, as one of God's angels! We will never forget you!
