I was one of Mrs Tumelty's students when she was teaching at Atlantic County VoTec. She was school nurse at the time as well, and I would slip into her office during break and we would chat together. Once we got so carried away chatting, we both missed the bell and I was late getting back to class! She was a special lady, and I loved her. I thought about our stories sometimes in later years as I was nursing in Africa, and wished that I could tell her about all the babies I had delivered-human babies now, not just farm animals! Jessie was such a firecracker and had a heart of gold. She became part of the family. She will be missed but the memories with her will last forever.

Jessie was such a wonderful person and friend. Sending love and condolences to all who loved her and were loved by her. She will be missed here but I know heaven has gained a great new resident.
