William Patrick Porch, Sr., 66, of Galloway Township, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at his residence. Born in Bridgeton, NJ, he resided in Galloway for more than 20 years.

After graduating from Bridgeton High School in 1974, Bill joined the U.S. Navy, then began a career in the casino/hotel industry until his retirement. He worked for Bally's Park Place Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

He was a proficient drummer, playing in local bands when he was younger. As a drummer, Bill was an avid fan of drum legend Buddy Rich. Bill had a great sense of humor, was quick witted and was known for phone pranks that were highlighted by spot-on impersonations of family, friends and famous people.

He was an avid sports fan and a devoted follower of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was athletic, explored a career in boxing and played various sports at the rec level.

He was predeceased by his parents Thomas Porch and Maver Porch, and his nephew Samuel Porch.

William is survived by his four children, Colleen Marie Porch, William Patrick Porch, Jr., Angela Marie Porch and Robert Porch. He is also survived by his siblings, Katie Hoerner (Pete), Ellen Greco (Michael Cudemo), Joseph Porch (Patty) and Thomas Porch III; his nieces and nephews, Robert Dubois, William Dubois, Sarah Porch, Dan Greco, Katie Porch, and Thomas Porch IV.

Services will be held at the convenience of family at a later date.
