Obituary of Angela Mazzeo

Angela Mazzeo, (nee Gazzara) 74 of Hammonton died on Monday in AtlanticCare Regional Med. Center in Galloway Township. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident there. Angela formerly worked at Bally's Park Place Casino in Atlantic City and the Maplewood Restaurant in Hammonton. Angela was an outstanding opera singer who sang at numerous local weddings throughout the years. She enjoyed horseback riding and the outdoors but her greatest love in life was spending time with her family She was predeceased by her parents, Frank J. and Fannie Gazzara, and her former husband, Stephen L. Mazzeo Jr.. She is survived by two sons, Stephen L ";Corky" Mazzeo and his partner Diana Perez, Frank Mazzeo and his wife Denise, four daughters, Kathie Mazzeo, Chris Lowe and her husband Terry, Stephanie Bates and her partner Burt Parks, Beth Gavin and her husband Jim, three brothers, Charles "Bud" Gazzara (Myra), Carl "Tobby " Gazzara, and Frank Gazzara (Roseanne), fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Viewing will be held Thursday 6:30 PM- 9:00 PM and Friday after 9:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Martin's, 129 Park Avenue in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton. Family requests donations to the Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
