Obituary of John R. Siligato

John R. Siligato, Sr., 89, of Hammonton passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Galloway. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident. He was a retired member of the Construction and General Laborer's Union Local 172. He also worked as a toll collector for the Atlantic City Expressway. Mr. Siligato was an army veteran of the Korean War. He was a longtime member and usher at St. Martin de Porres RC Church and recently ushered for St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish in Hammonton. John is survived by his son, John R. Siligato, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Hammonton; his daughter, Jennifer Worden and her husband Philip of Fontana, CA; seven grandchildren, Chad Golding, Natalia Worden, Thomas Golding, Holly Golding, Mykel Worden, John R. Siligato, III and Shaun Worden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 7, 2018, 11:30am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French St., Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 10:00am until 11:30am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
