Obituary of Constance M. Carnesale

Constance M. Carnesale, (nee Petit) of Linwood passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Nino J. Carnesale. She was predeceased in death by her parents, George and Lydia Petit, two sisters, Eleanor Barrie and Norma Grove. Mrs. Carnesale was born in Worcester, MA. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1941. She resided in Atlantic City for 18 years and then lived off-shore until her death. Connie worked for Atlantic Plate Glass as a bookkeeper for thirty-seven years and retired in 1989. She was a member of the American Red Cross, a volunteer at Shore Memorial Hospital for twelve years, a non-member of the professional advisory committee for the former Shore Care and a former volunteer at Brandall Estates and Mainland High School. She was also a past secretary for the Venice Park Association in Atlantic City. While residing in Massachusetts, she was an avid tennis player and a speed ice skater. Surviving are her three step-daughters, Christine Mink and her husband Russell of Bernalillo, N.M. , Delores Board of Milford, CT and Gloria McDermott of Las Vegas, NV, four step grandchildren, Daniel, Adam, Thomas and Jeanne; three step great grandchildren, Nina, Natalia and Cole; her niece Joyce Barrie and many other nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 25, 2018, 11:00 am in St. Vincent de Paul Church 5021 Harding Highway, Mays Landing, NJ 08330. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
