"Joe's Country Breakfast Number 1" remains one of the best things I've ever eaten. Enjoying it in Uncle Joe's company made it that more special. Thanks for the great memories, Uncle Joe!

Linda and I are so saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Through a friend, we discovered El Patio about 20 years ago and after only a few visits we became like members of Joe's extended family, as did many of his customers. Joe was an old-school guy, a product of his time, the type of man you rarely see today. He was hard-working, well into his senior years and took pride in his work. He has now reunited with Jean and the two of them are looking down on all of us. Joe is probably now making heavenly meatballs for the angels.

My memories of my cousin, Joe, are many, starting as a child, with my brother, also named Joseph Grasso, and my parents week long vacations at their home in Hammonton. Attending his wedding with his bride, Jean, and the birth of their three sons. The many stops for breakfast at the El Patio restaurant with my husband, Bill on our way to our shore home in Wildwood, NJ. Joe cooked up the best breakfasts with his wife, Jean, doing prep work like cooking and slicing cooked potatoes for home fries. Over the years Joe and Jean visited us at our shore home and we had dinner at local restaurants. Rest in Peace cousin Joe. You worked hard, was a loving husband and father and you have a special place in Heaven along side of your loving wife.
