JoAnn Sabatini, 78, of Hammonton, NJ, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, peacefully at her home in Elmtowne Village, NJ. She was born on November 28, 1939 in Hammonton and was a 1957 graduate of Hammonton High School, where she was voted Class Clown.

She began her work history at Chester Milley's Accounting Firm in Hammonton. She also worked as a pit clerk and later as a massage therapist at Bally's Park Place, Atlantic City.

She is predeceased by her parents, Ronald and Bertha Sabatini, her sister, Jean Bertino and her brother in law Anthony Bertino.

She is survived by her dear brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Phyllis Sabatini of Berlin. She was much beloved by her five nieces, Linda Bertino of Mullica Township, Joanne Adams (David) of Mays Landing, Sandra Bourguignon of Galloway Township, Gina Yaroch (Stephen) of Mount Laurel and Christine Earle (Harry) of Berlin and will be missed by her nine great nieces and nephews, Erik Schroder, Cameron, Hayley and Lucas Adams, Kelsie Grover, Stephen Yaroch and Matthew, Gregory and Jack Earle.

JoAnn was a free spirit whose sunny attitude, sense of humor and kind heart won her the love of many. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends, family and her Elmtowne neighbors. In the midst of any problem, it was JoAnn's way to "Shine A Light On It." Her positivity and warmth drew people to her.

JoAnn loved to travel and experience new cultures and foods. She had a particular fondness for Morocco and enjoyed visiting her many friends in Florida.

She was devoted to a healthy lifestyle of practicing yoga, eating natural foods and staying active. A fan of art/indie films, JoAnn would be found most Tuesdays at the Ritz Theater.
