Obituary of Jamie Barker

Jamie D. Barker aged 47 was born on March 17, 1971. He lived in a variety of foster homes until he was adopted by Diane and Richard Barker of Haddonfield, NJ. The Barkers ultimately adopted thirteen children, including Jamie. Jamie was married in November of 1995 to his lovely wife Colleen Moore

In 1990, Jamie graduated Vo-Tech school with a secretarial degree. Jamie also took computer and math classes at Camden County Community College. In addition to his schooling, Jamie was also tri-lingual. He was fluent in English, Spanish and Sign Language. Jamie valued his right to privacy, being gainful employed and exercising his personal choice. He held a variety of short term jobs over the years. Jamie and his wife, Colleen were longtime volunteers at the Food Pantry (Presbyterian Church in Hammonton). Jamie leaves behind his loving wife, Colleen and daughter Nicoletta Ann. He is also survived by his siblings: Suzie Kfoury, Caroline Sapp, Richard (Tony) Barker, Elizabeth Barker, Christopher Barker, Victoria Preston, Theodore Barker, Juliet Barker, William Barker and Ashley Barker. He was predeceased by his mother, Diana Burk Barker and father, Richard A. Barker of Haddonfield, NJ and siblings: Mary Barker, Sara Barker, Erica Barker and Raphael Barker.

Jamie will be remembered fondly as a wonderful husband and father. He loved his friends and family and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, NJ 08037, where a visitation will be held from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.
