Hank dated my mother Lois in the 80s into the early 90s and was more like a father to me than my real dad ever was. I was bummed when he and my mom split up because I was just on the verge of my teen years and just starting to appreciate having him around. I always remember the last time I saw him while I was going for a walk on my street and he stopped by to talk to me.It was in the fall right at the time the phillies were going to the world series in October of 1993 and we just mostly talked about whether they would win or not. I never thought at the time it would be the last time I would see or talk to Hank. I always figured one day I would run into him somewhere when I was older, but it never happened and I really wish it had, because I always wanted just to tell him thank you for all christmases and birthdays he was there growing up, and all the times he took me to baseball tryouts and to phillies games, the nights just hanging out on the couch watching the games on tv or WWF ppvs or the times he would take me to award video to try and get the newest baseball game rental for the spoiled kid who wasn't even his own. I wish I had known about his passing sooner so I could have gone and paid my respects. My condolences to his family. I know he is missed.
