Obituary of Elaine M. Melvin

Elaine M. Melvin, (nee Wetherbee) 97, of Haddonfield passed away peacefully at the home of Colin Wolfe and her niece Debbie Aguruso on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. She was born and raised in Hammonton and moved to Haddonfield five years ago. Mrs. Melvin was a self-employed milliner and artist. She was predeceased by her husbands Frank Caravelli and William D. Melvin; her son Ernest Robert Caravelli and her daughter in law Mary Ellen Caravelli. Elaine is survived by her brother, Robert Wetherbee of Hammonton, her caregivers, niece, Debbie Aguruso, Colin Wolfe, great niece Leila Masi and John Harvison; her previous caregiver, Lynn Brago; her grandson, Shawn M. Caravelli; two great grandsons, Shawn M. Jr. and Skylar and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 27, 2018, 11:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 10:30am until 11:30am. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
