John Mazzeo, 88 of Hammonton died Tuesday at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. Before retiring he was a professional photographer and owner of Mazzeo Studio in Hammonton. He was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Hammonton Chamber of Commerce, Hammonton Kiwanis Club, VFW Post No. 1026, American Legion Post No. 186, the Knights of Columbus Vincent Palotti Council. He was predeceased by his sister, Angie Napoliello. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Mazzeo (nee DeChurch), one son, Jack Mazzeo and his wife Janet of Hammonton, two daughters, Marilyn Zimmatore and her husband Joe of Washington Township, Kathy Bucknam and her husband Bob of Hammonton, his grandchildren, John and Michael Mazzeo, Deanna and Adam Shimborski, Joe, Kathy Lynn and John Paul Zimmatore, Michelle, Robby and Amy Bucknam, one great grandchild, Adam John Shimborski, one sister, Sue Kolasa of Ambler, PA. A viewing will be held Wednesday 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Thursday after 10:00 AM at St. Martin de Porres RC Church, 129 Park Ave., and Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11:00 AM at St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church, 129 Park Avenue in Hammonton. Entombment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
