Mildred G. Pino, (nee Pitale) 91, of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday in Vitas Hospice inpatient unit at Kennedy Hospital in Stratford. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident there. She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years Samuel N. Pino. After their marriage they briefly moved to California where she worked at Aerospace Inc., where she was known as "Millie the Riveter". She also worked for Romalo DeSantis Pants Factory in Hammonton, but her passion was being home with her family and taking care of them. Mrs. Pino's family meant the world to her, she enjoyed spending time with them and cooking for them. Her kitchen was her "castle". She was a devout Catholic and was very devoted to the Blessed Mother. Mrs. Pino is survived by her two sons and their spouses: Samuel A. and Joann Pino of Hammonton; Frank T. and Nancy Pino of Linwood; three grandchildren: Tara, Frank and Mark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 11:00 in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish at St. Joseph's Church, N. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:30am until 11:00am. Entombment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorial Donations maybe made to Vitas Hospice 18 E. Laurel Road, 3rd Floor, Stratford, NJ 08084. Arrangements are by the Carnesale Funeral Home, Hammonton.
