Obituary of David M. Petersen

David M. Petersen (Dangerous Dave) died on May 22, 2017 from Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) complications. He was 53 years old. David is survived by his parents Melvin and Estelle Petersen of Burlington NC; wife Lisa Petersen of Hammonton NJ; children David Petersen, Jr. and Shanna Petersen of Hammonton NJ; sister Shari Vassello (Doug) of Hillsborough NC; niece and nephew Sarah and Nick Vassello also of Hillsborough NC. David is preceded in death by his sister Michele M. Petersen. David was born on March 22, 1964, in Torrance, California. He attended Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington, NJ and graduated from Glassboro State University with a communications degree. David was an accomplished guitar player and loved playing in bands. Some of the bands he proudly played with were Eddie's Garage, Coast to Coast, Xcluzive Soul and Skeeter Brown. His passion was music. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, June 3rd, at 1:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, NJ., where a visitation will be held Saturday after 12:00 PM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate David's life.
