I was saddened to learn of the loss of my friend Eleanor. She was such a kind and thoughtful person. We have known each other for many years and even tho I do not live near by, we would stay in touch . I visited when I was in town on occasion and always enjoyed whatever she was cooking that day.
Condolences to the family.

I am just comming across this and although deeply sadden for her families loss, I have a smile on my face for the fond memories I have of Eleanor. When I was a little girl we moved into the big white house next to hers on 12th street. My younger sister and I spent many afternoons in her kitchen. I remember how I loved the smell of her house, upon entering it seemed as if something was always cooking. She always allowed us to stir or mix, or to help dry the dishes. I will always remember her as a kind and giving woman, who on occasion took us with her to her families homes to play with her grandchildren. I'm happy that she lived a full life and I will always remember her.

I am saddened to hear of sweet Eleanor's passing. I am a cousin related to the Ordille family (Antonina Ordille(Ortenzi married name) was my Nana). I was honored to have been able to meet her and talk. She shared many photos and stories of the family. Blessings and strength for the Milazzo family.

Aunt Eleanor defined grace, hospitality and kindness. I loved visiting her at her home and having great conversations. She was loving, kind and thoughtful and always had kind words to share about my Mom and Dad to me. So appreciated her love of her family, both the one she created with Uncle Lawyer and the one she came from. Aunt Eleanor recently wrote me a letter which I will always treasure. Love to her family and Aunt Lillian, of course.

I will never forget Aunt Eleanor, and her gracious, generous ways. She reminded me so much of my mother, her sister Marie. Whenever I would drop in for a visit, the refrigerator door automatically opened and I had to eat something. She was very famous for canning her own tomatoes, still doing it in her 90's. She was, hands down, the best cook in Hammonton. She prepared meals for everyone who needed them. It was her way of showing love, no doubt. She will be sorely missed by her sons and their family, and her also gracious and generous sister Lillian. Her loving nieces and nephews are thinking she is make a big Italian diner for her spouse and siblings.
