Obituary of Joan I. DeVries

Joan I. DeVries, (nee Bryson), 84, of Hammonton, NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Virtua Health Systems in Voorhees. Born in Philadelphia she was a longtime resident of Hammonton. Before retiring she worked as a licensed practical nurse at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital. Joan was a devoted member of Victory Bible Church in Hammonton. She was predeceased by her daughter, JoAnn DeFelice. She is survived by one son, Stuart W. DeVries Sr. (Ana) of Hammonton; three grandchildren, Jenn DeFelice of Hammonton, Tiffany DeVries and Stuart W. DeVries Jr. both of Massachusetts; one brother, Frank Bryson (Maryann) of Winslow; and one sister, Sheryl Goff of Mt. Laurel. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
