Obituary of Janet Benezet

Janet Benezet (nee Schwartz), 66, of the Villas passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was a Cape May County resident for forty two years. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia. Before retiring Janet had worked as a case worker for Cape May County Board of Social Services. She enjoyed ceramics, making dolls, vacationing and bargain shopping. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley F. "Ben" Benezet; her granddaughter, Rebecca Ann Benezet; two sisters, Lorraine Wolfinger and Beverly Hubler; and her brother, Joseph Schwartz. She is survived by three children, Michael Benezet, Janet M. Benezet, and Benjamin Benezet; five grandchildren, Casey, Nicole, Amanda, Michael Jr., and Christopher; two sisters, Diane Kennedy and Dorothy Obeissy; six great grandchildren; and thirteen nieces and nephews. Private funeral services and entombment at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammoton were held at the convenience of the family.
