Obituary of John J. Lyons

John J. Lyons, 72, of Hammonton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at his residence. Born in Philadelphia he lived in the Hammonton area for most of his life. His career spanned 40 years with the Foundry Service Corporation of Vineland, NJ, where he retired as Executive Vice-President. Mr. Lyons enjoyed car racing, waterskiing, and fishing but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father in law, Gene Conte. Mr. Lyons is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anna Lu Lyons (nee Conte), his daughter and son in law, Rosie and Mike Ryan; his son and daughter in law, John E. and Adalgisa Lyons; all of Hammonton; his five grandchildren, Jason, Selena, Jeremy, Jonathan and Michael, and Tony Siscone, whom he loved as a brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 22, 2016, 11:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street, Hammonton. Entombment will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. Viewings will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 6:00pm - 9:00pm and again on Monday 9:00am - 10:30am, at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S.
