Susan Colleen Miller, (nee Allen), 64, of Mullica Township passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township. Born in Atlantic City, she was a graduated from Atlantic City High School. Before retiring she worked for twenty eight years at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, she enjoyed watching boxing, she loved music and life. She served as a Captain for the E.M.T. at Ancora Hospital. She was a first responder in New York City during the 911 attacks. She was predeceased by her second husband, Andre Miller; her granddaughter, Nicole; her parents, Edmund and Blanch Allen; her grandparents, Scott and Susan; and her niece, Melissa. She is survived by her children, Stacy Kehrli (Greg), Deborah Allen, Scott Johns (Cindy), Todd Johns, Andrea Miller, and William Pitts; her brother, Edmund Allen; her sister, Agnes Tracey (Joe Bondiskey); her grandchildren, Zachary, Mary Rose, Samantha, Aaron, Rebecca, Marilynn and Charles; her nephew, Samuel Allen (Kendra); great nephew, Keegan; and lifelong friend, Loretta Martin. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mullica Township P.T.A. Foundation, 500 Elwood Road, Elwood, NJ 08217.
