Eddie Echevarria , 70 of Buena Vista died Friday at Innova Health Care in Hammoton. Born in Puerto Rico he was a South Jersey area resident for forty years. He had worked at Newcomb Hospital and South Jersey Healthcare in Vineland and Eastern Brewery in Hammonton. He is survived by his wife, Norma I. Echevarria (nee Rodriguez), six children, Elsie Thomas, Eduardo Echevarria, Eddie Echevarria Jr., Sandy Long, Linda Gonzalez, and Victor Echevarria, nineteen brothers and sisters, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held Wednesday 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Thursday 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. Funeral services will take place Thursday 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
