Obituary of Kathleen G. Silipena

Kathleen G. "Kay" Silipena, 77 of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident there. Kay formerly worked for several different trucking companies as a bookkeeper and most recently she worked at Massarelli's Lawn Ornaments in Hammonton. She was a devoted member of Weight Watchers and an avid bingo player. Kay loved her coffee and enjoyed going to different establishments to get "her coffee." Kay thought the world of her family and friends and cherished every moment she spent with them. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Ruberton of Hammonton; her brother and sister in law John and Shirley Streich of Edmond, OK; her nieces and nephews, Renee K. Ruberton, Sheri J. Ruberton, Tony Streich; Joe Alan Streich, her great nieces and nephews, Philip F. Salvatore, Rebecca A. Salvatore, Christopher A. Salvatore, Colby A. Salvatore; Sophie Streich, her great-great nephew Bentley; countless other close family and friends including the "Golden Girls." A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday May 3, 2016 11:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's 226 French Street, Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. A viewing will be held Tuesday morning 9:00am until 10:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
