How will so many of us go on without Ms Rita? We were SO LUCKY to have known her in our lives. She was a class act, represented us Italians so well (!), mother to so many, watched over her neighbors, provided decades of public service as a nurse, and who I saw dancing to Big Band music in her living room on September 19, 2010 - prior to my last visit following her illness. I love you, Ms Rita!

Our Dearest Aunt Rita,
All the wonderful memories you gave to me and my family growing up on 89th street in Miami. I felt so blessed to carry on a relationship with you for all these years. You will be missed dearly but I know you are finally at home. We will meet again. May your family find comfort in all your wonderful memories they shared with you.
xoxo
