Obituary of Karl F. Ziegler

Karl F. Ziegler, Jr. 84, of Hammonton passed away on Monday March 14, 2016 at the Heritage Assisted Living Facility. Born in Trenton he lived in Hammonton 15 years. Karl was a former 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Assembly 1721 and St. Theresa's Knights of Columbus Council 11877 . He was a Past President of Windward Village Resident Association in Florida. Karl was a retired carpenter for Wood Builders of Northfield and he also owned and operated his own carpenter business. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Karl was predeceased by his former wives, Patricia (nee Kennedy) Ziegler, Patricia Wray-Ziegler and Carmelia M. DeFiccio-Ziegler and his sons, Kenneth and William J. Karl is survived by his three sons, Karl F. Ziegler, III of Millville, Robert Ziegler of Newfield, Arthur Ziegler of Millville; his daughter, Judith Ziegler of Newfield; his sister, Katherine Updike of Trenton; his step children, Donald DeFiccio (Judi), Joseph DeFiccio, Jerry DeFiccio (Fran) all of Hammonton; Robert L. DeFiccio (Mary Jo) of Lawrenceville, Bridget DeFiccio (John O'Donnell) of Clarksboro; 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 17, 2016 11:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Anthony of Padua 285 Route 206, Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 9:00am - 11:00am. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations for outdoor lighting may be made to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, 226 French St. Hammonton.
