Obituary of Andrea Chen

Andrea Chen, (nee Herrera), 53, of Galloway Township, passed away at home on Friday, January 22, 2016. Born in Camden she lived in Mullica Township before moving to Galloway 17 1/2 years ago. Andrea formerly worked for the Sands Hotel & Casino as a payroll clerk. She was a member of the Absegami High School Band Association. Andrea was predeceased by her parents, Gilberto "Jimmy" & Sicilia "Sisi" Herrera and her sister, Yolanda Herrera. She is survived by her husband, Derek Chen; her son, Adam Chen both of Galloway Township; and her brother, Gilberto "Herbie" Herrera Jr. (Debbie) of Vineland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. A viewing will be held Wednesday 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
