Obituary of Lois M. Malec

Lois Marie Malec (nee Lees), 79, of Hammonton, NJ, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully and went home to be with our Lord in heaven on January 7, 2016. Born in Jersey City she was a Hammonton and Folsom area resident for more than fifty years. Some may know her from Olivo's Italian Market where she worked as a meat wrapper for many years. She loved her bingo and enjoyed embroidery, which she gave out as gifts at Christmas and other occasions. She loved old John Wayne war and western movies but most of all she loved her family. Lois is survived by her husband of fifty three years, Edward Malec Sr., three children, Edward Malec Jr. (Anna), Susan Malec, and David Malec (Sue); three grandchildren, D.J., Matthew and Justin; two sisters, Ruth Dutton (Dick), and Maryann Cirillo (Joe). A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM with Pastor Vince Lombardo officiating. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
