Obituary of James (Jack) V. Mazza

James (Jack) V. Mazza, 95, of Hammonton passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Hammonton Rehabilitation Center. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. Mr. Mazza was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a retired truck driver formerly working for Bancheri Construction. He was a member of the Hammonton Senior Citizens, the Laborers Union Locals 472 and 172. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Hammonton where he served as an usher. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Rose Mazza; his sister Angie Domenico and his brothers, Tom, Joe, Mike and Al Mazza. Mr. Mazza is survived by his son Victor Mazza and his companion Toni Ann Ordille; his daughter and son in law Jackie and Sal DeMauro, his brother, Vincent Mazza and his companion Kathy Arlan all of Hammonton; his grandchildren, Kris DeRuchie and her husband Dave of Sewell, Greg DeMauro and his wife Lori of Mebane, NC, Sandy DeMauro and her husband, JP Hernandez of Wellington, FL, Mike Mazza of Charlotte, NC and Matt Mazza of Newtown, PA; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 11:30am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 9:00am until 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
