Obituary of Anna A. Terruso

Anna A. Terruso, (nee Mortelliti), 88 of Hammonton passed away peacefully Saturday December 19, 2015 with her family at her side. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident there. She was a retired sewing machine operator for Kessler Clothing Shop in Hammonton. She also formerly worked for the Hammonton Board of Education as a cafeteria worker and for Wolfe Farms. Mrs. Terruso was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union and the Hammonton Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her sisters, Angelina Rebardo and Frances Kovshuk. Anna is survived by her husband, Mario Terruso, Jr., her daughter Deborah Burke and her husband Frank of Nesco, her son George J. Terruso of Hammonton; her grandchildren, Frank Burke IV, of Minotola, Kyle Burke (Kristin); Kristin Burke DeAngelo (Michael) all of Nesco; two brothers, Anthony Mortelliti (Helen), Henry Mortelliti (Marie) all of Hammonton; three sisters, Grace Houser (Howard) of Penns Grove; Theresa Nemec (Al) of Villas; Louise DeCamp of Devonshire; her great grandchildren, Frank Burke V; Ciara Burke and Lacey DeAngelo and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday December 23, 2015 10:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206, Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. A viewing will be held Tuesday 7:00pm until 9:00pm, and again on Wednesday, 8:30am - 9:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201.
