Obituary of Angelina Mazza

Angelina Mazza (nee LaMotta), 94, of Hammonton passed away peacefully at the Heritage Assisted Living in Hammonton. Born in Philadelphia she was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. She was a retired sewing machine operator for Consolidated Pants Co. in Hammonton. Mrs. Mazza was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union and the Hammonton Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Mazza; her son Joseph M. Mazza, her brother Louis LaMotta, and her sister, Josephine Panichello. Mrs. Mazza is survived by her daughter Marie Sceia and her husband Charles of Hammonton, one sister Rose Falo of Cherry Hill, her brothers in law, Jack Mazza and Vincent Mazza both of Hammonton; five grandchildren, Anthony Sceia (Nancy); Charles Sceia, Jr. (Tania); Kevin Friel, Michael Sceia; Karen Tigro (Alex); 11 great grandchildren, Katherine Sceia, Charles Sceia, III, Michael Sceia, Joseph Sceia, Gabrielle Sceia and Olivia Sceia, Rachel Friel, Justin Friel; Ashley Tigro, Francesca Tigro and Alexis Tigro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday December 7, at 1:30pm in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French St., Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday 11:30am - 1:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
