Ruth A. Daminger, 85, of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday November 17 in the Princeton Care Center, Princeton Twp., NJ. Born in Upper Deerfield Township, she was a lifelong South Jersey resident. Mrs. Daminger was a retired office manager and proofreader for the Vineland Times Journal and the Hammonton News. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Hammonton; the Dewey Chapter #155 Order of the Eastern Star, Hammonton AARP Chapter 4808, The Hammonton Presbyterian Church and the Hammonton Historical Society. Mrs. Daminger was predeceased by her husband George Daminger. She is survived by her sister: Charlotte Hann and her husband William of Jamesburg, NJ; three nieces: Dania Lachapelle; Susan Brennan; Donna Hiles; two nephews: Ben Fogletto, Jr.; William Hann and many great nieces and great nephews. Memorial Services will be held Saturday 11:00am at the Hammonton Presbyterian Church, Bellevue Ave., Hammonton where a visitation will begin at 10:30am. Donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
