Obituary of John Vincent Ceci

John Vincent Ceci, Sr., of Vineland and formerly of Hammonton passed away peacefully on October 27, 2015. He was born on Sept. 17, 1932 in Egg Harbor City. Mr. Ceci worked in the clothing industry as a presser for many years. He also worked at the Egg Harbor City Boat works. He retired from Hammonton Building Supply. Mr. Ceci was a volunteer for the Hammonton Rescue Squad for many years. His love of bowling allowed him to enjoy every Thursday Night at DiDonato's in their mixed league. He was greatly loved and will be missed dearly. Mr. Ceci was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Ceci (nee Piehs), his parents, James and Filomena (nee Malandracco) Ceci his son in law Terence Schultz and his sister Lena Millman. Mr. Ceci is survived by his 3 children, Brenda Schultz, Phyllis Hunter and her husband Don, John Vincent Ceci, Jr and his wife Maureen; his grandchildren, Chris, Anthony and his wife Deneane, James, John Vincent III, Joshua, Christy, Alexander Jordan, Samantha and Miguel and his great grandchildren, Alex, Adam and Alyssa, as well as many nieces and nephews. A viewing for family and friends will be held Saturday Oct. 31, from 9:00am - 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where funeral services will be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
