Obituary of M. Leon Rubba

M. Leon Rubba, 90 of Hammonton passed away peacefully in Virtua Rehab at Berlin on Thursday, October 22, 2015. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Rubba was the owner of Rubba's Furniture Store in Hammonton. He enjoyed painting and entertaining family and friends playing the piano. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years Marie W. Rubba (nee Wuillermin). Mr. Rubba is survived by his daughter Leah Rubba-Lazarus and her husband Michael of New Castle, DE; his son Leon Rubba and his wife Cindy of Hammonton; one sister, Rosemary R. Bernier of Alexandria, VA his two granddaughters, Dezirae Rubba and Alexis Rubba, his brother and sister in law, August and Chris Wuillermin and many cousin, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday Nov. 6, 2015, 12:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00am until 12:00pm.
