Marion Capella, (nee Cirillo) 102, of Vineland and formerly of Hammonton passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Born and raised in Hammonton she lived there until moving to Vineland five years ago. Before retiring Mrs. Capella worked as a machine operator with Modern Clothing Factory of Hammonton. She was a longtime member of St. Martin de Porres Church and a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. Mrs. Capella loved gardening and was proud of her garden of iris flowers. She loved sewing and crocheting and belonged to a "sewing Circle" with a group of friends. Mrs. Capella enjoyed making Christmas bows, ham pies at Easter, canning fruits and vegetables, making homemade pasta and ravioli's. She also enjoyed doing word find puzzles. But what she enjoyed the most was caring for her family with love. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony W. Capella; her grandson, Brian J. Capella; her son in law, Ray W. Rudolph; her daughter in law, Lorraine Capella; three brothers, Anthony Cirillo, Thomas Cirillo, and Charles Cirillo; four sisters, Anna Vuotto, Kate Czerwinski, Nora Colasurdo, and Margaret Ferrarie. She is survived by one daughter, Marie P. Rudolph; and one son, Joseph C. Capella; two grandsons, Steven Capella and Michael Capella all of Vineland; and one sister, Theresa E. Ordille of Hammonton. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11:30 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French in Hammonton .
