Obituary of Robert B Welch

Robert B. Welch, 84 of Brigantine passed away Monday June 8, 2015 in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Division. Born in Atlantic City he grew up there then moved to several different locations including New York, Cherry Hill and Hammonton. He was a retired construction manager with First Pennsylvania Bank of Cherry Hill. He was a longtime member of the Atlantic County Democratic Party. Mr. Welch was also a volunteer with Literacy for America. After his retirement he worked at the Brigantine Golf course where he was best known as "The Sandman." Mr. Welch is survived by his children, Jody Turner of Brigantine, Janet Welch of Dallas, TX, Bruce Welch of West Berlin, Barbara Welch Clayton; Bonnie Welch Fultano both of Clementon and Edward Welch of Atlanta; his brother Charles Welch of Marlton and nine grandchildren. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
