It saddened me greatly to hear the passing of a great friend. When Joe was Chief of the Newtonville Fire Co. in the 80's I was Chief in Collings Lakes. Through that connection, we became great friends. Playing horseshoes, poker in his basement, him being a great caretaker to Debbie in her failing years. He was truly inspirational to me. God Bless you Joe, rest in peace my friend.
