Obituary of Jesus Rivera

Jesus Rivera, 89, of Mullica Township passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Hammonton Center. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico he was a longtime resident of the Hammonton and Mullica Township area. He worked for many years at the Garden State Race Track in Cherry Hill. He was a longtime member of the Spanish Pentecostal Assembly of God Church in Hammonton. He was predeceased by his wife, Ramona Rivera, and his son, Jose Vega. He is survived by five children, Jesus Rivera Jr. (Maria), Luis Rivera (Angela), Raul Rivera, Carman Santiago (Ralph) and Pedro Rivera (Lori). He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
