Obituary of Howard Nash

Howard Nash, Sr., aka "Night Train" or "Big Daddy Train", 64 of Newtonville, NJ passed away suddenly on April 28, 2015. Born in Atlantic City he was a lifelong South Jersey resident. He was a retired truck driver for Duell Fuel of Atlantic City. Mr. Nash was a former Chief with the Newtonville Vol. Fire Co., a position he held for 10 years. He was a member of the Bowling League at DiDonato's Bowling Alley in Hammonton. He was an avid Spade card player, and he loved listening to all kinds of music. Mr. Nash was a member of a large CB Family, everyone knew him by his names, Night Train or Big Daddy Train. He was predeceased by his grandson, Sterling Bishop Nash, his siblings, Ursula Olivia White, Bernard T. Nash, Warren Nash and Cynthia Nash. Mr. Nash is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Nash (nee Woody), his son Howard Nash Jr. (Angela Mathews); his daughter, Valerie Nash Blassingale (Keith), his brother, James Davis (Sarah), his four grandchildren, Antoinette Nash, Howard Nash III, Julian Nash; Keira Blassingale and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Mr. Nash's life will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the Dr. Martin Luther King Center, 661 Jackson Road, Newtonville, NJ 08346.
