Lois A. Press, 90 of Hammonton died Thursday at her daughters home in Hammonton. Born in Chatfield, MN she was a Hammonton area resident since 1949. Mrs. Press worked as a registered nurse at Wm B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton for many years. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post No. 186 in Hammonton. She was a avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, enjoyed golfing, fishing, needle work, ceramic making, Scrabble, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her son in law, Louis Scibilia, and her grandson, Jeffrey Gaston. She is survived by two daughters, Cathie P. Scibilia of Hammonton, and Cheryl Gaston of Oregon, one brother, Fred Jorgenson and his wife, Yvonne, three grandchildren, Monica Scibilia - Friel, Robin Fuller and her husband Chris, and Drew Gaston, six great grandchildren, Rachel, Justin, Josh, Zachary, Emily and Bethany, and dear family friends, Catherine and Bill Parkhurst. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
