Bridget Brady, (nee Duffy), 81, of Hammonton passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Born in County Mayo, Ireland she moved to Philadelphia when she was 19 years old. Bridget resided in Hammonton since 1970. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish in Hammonton and had worked as a packer for Deer Park Baking Co. She was predeceased by her husband, James Brady and siblings, Anthony, James & John Duffy and Mary Ellen O’Donnell. Bridget is survived by her children, Ann Marie Benedetto (Anthony), Sheila Amendolia (Dominic), James Brady, and Martin Brady (Angela) all of Hammonton. Loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, Katie Cicilioni (Fred), Erin Rizzotte (Kevin), AJ Benedetto, Nicholas Brady (fiancée, Megan), Dominic Amendolia, Alanna Benedetto, Brianna Brady, Jimmy and Shannon Brady; brothers, Patrick, Tom, Martin and Michael Duffy and sisters, Margaret Kelly and Kathleen Towey and brother in laws, sister in laws and many nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00 am in St Mary of Mount Carmel Parish of St. Joseph’s 226 French St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Atlantic County Veteran Cemetery, Estelle Manor, NJ. Viewings will be held on Tuesday, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, 9:30 am until 10:30 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Ave, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834 or to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
