Obituary of Mary N. Streitfeld

Mary N. Streitfeld (nee Nardo) 92, of Hammonton, passed away Saturday Dec. 13, 2014 at the NJ Veteran's Memorial Home in Vineland. Born in Atlantic City she resided in Hammonton from 1950 until 2013. She worked alongside her husband as office manager at Streitfeld Eye Associates in Hammonton. Mrs. Streitfeld was a longtime member and Past President of the Hammonton Woman's Civic Club and was instrumental in getting their clubhouse built. She also belonged to the Jaycees and the Hammonton Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Streitfeld is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dr. Leonard Streitfeld, two sons, Dr. Stephen Streitfeld (Andrea) of Hammonton, Rick Streitfeld (Donna Strong) of Huntington Beach, CA, one daughter, Linda Johnson (Stephen) of Hammonton, her grandchildren, Bryan Streitfeld (Jenn), Lauren Wilson (Jon), Christopher Johnson (fiancée Elizabeth) , Melissa Johnson, and her two great grandchildren, Carlena Streitfeld and Colin Wilson. Memorial services will be held Thursday 6:30pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton where a visitation will be held from 5:00pm until time of services.
