Obituary of Luigi Carini

Luigi Carini, 82, of Hammonton passed away on Tuesday in Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center City Division in Atlantic City. Born in Santa Cristina Gela, Sicily he lived in Hammonton for over 40 years. He was a retired packer for Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton. Mr. Carini was predeceased by his wife: Lucia Carini; his parents: Giorgio and Francesca Carini; his brother: Pietro Carini and his sister: Felicia Scafidi. He is survived by his two daughters and their spouses: Francesca and Chris Gibase of Las Vegas, NV; Nina and Police Chief Frank R. Ingemi of Hammonton; four sisters: Lucia Brown of Williamstown; Maria Acurso of Virginia; Benigna Fragola of Hammonton; Josephine Luppino of Vineland and his three grandchildren: Christopher Gibase, Lauren Gibase and Frank Gibase. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:30am in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish in St. Joseph's Church, N. Third St. Hammonton. Entombment will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. A viewing will be held Saturday 8:30am until 10:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of one's choice.
