Obituary of Anita Meale

Anita Meale (nee Ricci), 88, of Hammonton passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Born in Vineland, NJ she was a Hammonton resident for forty five years. Before retiring Mrs. Meale was the Principal at St. Francis of Assisi School in Vineland. She served as an Eucharistic Minister at St. Martin dePorres R.C. Church in Hammonton for many years. Mrs. Meale was an artist, and she enjoyed painting, gardening, cooking and taking care of her rose bushes. She was predeceased by her brother, Albert Ricci. She is survived by her husband, Dr. John A. Meale, MD; three sons, Rick Meale (Elisa) of Shamong, NJ, Albert Meale of Williamsport, PA, and John A. Meale Jr. (Tami) of Tabernacle, NJ ; one brother, Henry Ricci of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Rose Marie Ricci of Ocean City, NJ, and eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony's, 285 Route 206 in Hammonton where a visitation will be held from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM.
