Obituary of Julio E. Rodriguez

Julio E. Rodriguez, 21 of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Born in Atlantic City he was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. Julio was a graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 2010, while a student there he excelled on the football and baseball teams. He was a proud member of the 2009 Group III State Football Championship Team. Julio was very active in sports during his lifetime, he played football for the Hammonton Hawks, baseball for the Hammonton Little League teams, and basketball for the Hammonton Bulldogs Program. He volunteered his time as a coach for the Hammonton Hawks Varsity Team and as a Hammonton Little League coach, most recently coaching the Kiwanis major league team. He also helped his father with his D.J. business. He is survived by his father, Antonio J. Rodriguez; and his twin brother, Antonio J. Rodriguez Jr. both of Hammonton; one sister, Dovanni Rodriguez (Angel Castro) of Vineland; his paternal grandparents, Esther Rodriguez and Jose Velazquez of Vineland; his paternal great grandmother, Leonor Perez of Buena; two uncles, Edward Rodriguez (Demaris) of Vineland, and James Rodriguez of Vineland. Also survived by many cousins and friends. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 at the Spanish Pentecostal Assembly of God Church, 100 French Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 8:00 PM. Another viewing will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2014 after 9:00 AM at the Spanish Pentecostal Assembly of God Church where funeral services will take place at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. Arrangements by the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton.
