Obituary of Marie W Rubba

Marie W. Rubba, 86, of Hammonton, passed away peacefully at her residence, Sunday June 1, 2014 with her family by her side. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Rubba was an interior decorator who worked in the family owned Rubba's Furniture Company, and later opened her own business, "Interior Designs by Marie." Mrs. Rubba is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, M. Leon Rubba, her devoted children, Leah Rubba-Lazarus and her husband Michael of Delaware, L. Leon Rubba and his wife, Cindy, of Hammonton, her adoring grandchildren, Dezirae Rubba and Lexie Rubba, her brother August Wuillermin and his wife Chris of Hammonton and her sister in law, Rosemary Bernier of Alexandria, VA. Mrs. Rubba is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her and will miss her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00am at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French St., Hammonton where a visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am.
