Obituary of Joseph Neglia

Joseph Neglia, 85 of Hammonton passed away peacefully on Monday in Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center, Mainland Division. Born in Italy he moved to Hammonton a little over a year ago. He previously lived in Waco, Texas. Mr. Neglia was a musician and an International Consultant with Profiles International of Waco, Texas. He was a Sub-dean with the American Guild of Organists Metropolitan New Jersey Chapter. Mr. Neglia was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish and a member of their choir. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 31 years, Lisa Neglia (nee Picone), his daughter Dina Maria Neglia-Khachatryan and her husband Grigor of Indiana; his sons, Michael J. Neglia and Anthony Neglia both of Texas; one sister Maria Neglia also of Texas and other family members residing in North Jersey. A Rosary will be said Thursday 7:00pm in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French St., Hammonton, followed by a visitation with the family until 8:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 11:00am in St. Joseph's Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Music and Theater Departments of St. Joseph's High School, 328 Vine Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
