Obituary of Joseph Richard Chiovitt

Joseph (Rick) Chiovitt Jr., 46, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday Jan. 18 at home where he lived with his mother in Hammonton, NJ. Rick was born in Trenton and was raised in Fallsingston, PA and lived in the area until 2011 when he moved to New Jersey. He was a graduate of Pennsbury High School and Bucks County Technical School where he studied welding. Rick worked along side his father in his families business Rick Chiovitt Land Clearing until his fathers passing in 2005. Years prior Rick was a member of the Falls Twp. Rifle and Pistol Association. Rick loved to cook and experiment with new food creations. He enjoyed music and taking long drives in the car that he loved. He loved his life, he loved his family, his friends and he loved the Lord. Rick was predeceased by his father Rick Chiovitt Sr. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Reverend Kathy Kellett Chiovitt, his sisters and brothers in law, Kathleen and Robert Mannon Jr of Fallsington, PA and Dorothy and Sean Yoos of Fountainville, PA, his three beautiful nieces Gracie Mannon and Brooke and Brynn Yoos, his paternal grandmother, Helen Chiovitt of Levittown, PA, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved dearly. Rick was a gentle soul and was kind to everyone he met. He always said "Mom, I'm happy!" Rick died with a smile on his face. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday Feb. 1, 2014 9:30am in Fallsington United Methodist Church, 50 LaCross and Yardley Aves., Fallsington, PA.
