Obituary of Louise Picciotti

Louise Picciotti (nee Caracciolo), 92, of Hammonton passed away on Sunday at Hammonton Center for Rehabilitation. Born in Blue Anchor she was a lifelong resident of the Blue Anchor and Hammonton area. Before her retirement she worked as a seamstress for Romolo's Pants Company and Anna Bertino's Dress Shop. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen DeGolia of Elm; three grandchildren, Louise DeGolia (Janet) of Egg Harbor Township, Kathryn DeGolia (Rachel) of Las Vegas, and Larry DeGolia (Teri) of Maple Shade; two great grandchildren, Erin Berg and Ella Berg both of Egg Harbor Township; one sister, Marie Caracciolo of Elm; and her special friend, Carole Berg of Margate. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
