Obituary of John A. Zucconi

John A. Zucconi, 70 of Hammonton passed away suddenly in Forkston, PA while on a hunting trip. Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong South Jersey resident. Mr. Zucconi retired from the State of New Jersey where he was a crew supervisor mainly working at Ancora Hospital, the Central Motor Pool in Hammonton and at Bayside Prison. During his time working at Ancora he was a member of their Volunteer Fire Department serving as President in 1974. He was a member of the Hang Em High Gun Club. Most notably in town he was known for his work with the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society where he was a member for 46 years. Mr. Zucconi is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Zucconi (nee McKeone), his four children, Alan Zucconi and his wife Jaclyn Cella of Atco, Patricia Ann Perrone and her husband Anthony, John A. Zucconi, Jr., Lena Hutsell and her husband Justin all of Hammonton; his six grandsons, Michael Cella, Justin Hutsell, II, Cullen Hutsell, Joseph N. Zucconi, Joshua Zucconi, and Elvis Hutsell and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Rte. 206, Hammonton. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday 7:00pm - 9:00pm and again on Wednesday morning 10:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the family.
