Obituary of Sujeit B. Sykes

Sujeit B. Sykes, (nee Carmona) 33 of Lindenwold passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 12:14 PM surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hammonton she was a longtime resident there before moving to Lindenwold seven years ago. She worked as a human services assistant at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Gene Sykes, her mother, Lylliam Najahi, her father, Angel Carmona, her step father, Thomas Hepburn, three sisters, Kenialy Carmona, Chereyse Hepburn and Ladana Tenant, two brothers, Thomas Hepburn Jr. and William Johnson, maternal grandfather, Manuel Vasquez, maternal grandmother, Ana Celia Martinez, paternal grandmother, Margaret Williams, father in law and mother in law, Gene and Brenda Sykes, eight nieces and nephews, Diamond Sykes, Aveion Sykes, Deztiney Tenant, Harry Tenant, Lariyah Tenant, Jonathan Minor Jr., Brooklyn Hepburn, and Thomas Hepburn III. A viewing will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM and Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place Wednesday at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
